This just came to me, in my own moment of panic. It’s gone now, I kicked anxiety’s ass today. Sam has a moment of panic he can’t control…
It was all just too much. The tears just fell. He tried to
stop them, but everything just seemed to be spiraling out of control. He never
felt more alone.“Sammy? Sam, where are you?”
Dean’s voice was frantically calling for him. Sam could hear his brother running down the
hallway of the bunker.“Sam, this isn’t funny! Please!” There was panic in his voice.
Sam gripped the gun a little tighter, and held it closer to
his chest. His mind was spinning in all directions and he couldn’t think
straight. The monster, one they had never encountered before, had sprayed him
with…something. And now all he felt was
panic. And it wasn’t going away.He struggled to remember anything good in his life. Anything.
But all he felt was pain.Once again he heard his brother’s voice break through the
silence.“Dammit Sam, it isn’t real!”
Seconds later, the closet door was wrenched open and before he had
time to react, the gun was pulled from his fingers.“Cas, now!” yelled Dean.
Sam blinked and saw Cas’ fingers as they moved to touch his
forehead.The room went cool and dark.
